CLOSED {giveaway} sweetnature designs

It's my pleasure to introduce all of you to Beth of Sweetnature Designs.  I found her shop on Etsy a few months back and fell in love at first site.  You know when you find a new shop and you're like "wow, this is so me!" (that's exactly how I felt).  I love her bright, bold colors, sweet, inspiring phrases, and unique drawings.  All of her designs start with one of her original drawings and each item is sewn and hand screen printed by her in her home studio!

Now, lets get to know Beth a little better:

My name is Beth Tobey and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington. I have two school age children and a wonderful husband and together we enjoy long boarding, hiking and biking. When we can, we head to the Oregon coast for boogie boarding and surfing.

Once my youngest entered 1st grade, I decided to find a way to put my artistic hobbies to another use. I loved painting and had sold several paintings throughout the years, but I wanted to find something with a quicker turnover…something smaller to ship, too! I had some fun designs in my mind and thought they would translate well onto kitchen towels and other accessories. Through a lot of trial and error I have finally found the ideas that work! My kitchen towels, scarves, bags, pillow covers, and aprons are so much fun to make and I am so blessed to have found this creative outlet!  

I currently sell my products in several stores and boutiques across the country as well as in a few online markets such as etsy, artfire, and zibbet. Surprisingly, after the United States and Canada, the majority of my sales come from Australia! I added pillow covers to my line about 9 months ago and they have been really successful. Many of my customers tend to like the designs I have created with fun little reminders on them:
Be Happy, Life is Pretty Cool, It’s All Good, Smile, Funny Life… Any of my products with these designs on them tend to be the most popular.

I can’t live without my phone! It’s my mini computer, and it helps keep my organized and connected. However, I am also a huge list maker and "doodler" and the lists and doodles MUST be on paper…it’s the artist in me, I guess! I carry my phone and my day planner everywhere.

Reese’s Peanut Butter cups are ALWAYS in the house. Necessary for lapses in creativity.

"Worry is the misuse of your imagination". I keep this in mind often as I come from a long line of worry-arts and artists. Hmmm…

Favorite movie: Sense and Sensiblity AND Sixteen Candles. I’m a hopeless romantic.

I am a huge homebody, but if I lived on the beach I would never go anywhere else. It doesn’t matter what the weather is…I LOVE the ocean.
